Delighted to report that Get Out, a song co-written with Yorkshire songwriter Phil Webster, has been picked up by Choo-Choo Seven Musik in Germany. 

Phil's a great guy and a very canny songwriter - I hope this is the first of many successes to come...

I'm sick of having epiphanies.  One day I'll sort this shite out...

Peter Falconer is a multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter with a versatile sound, which manifests itself in four very different songs on this recording.

It all starts with the smokin' rock of 'Country Life', which is like The Beatles doing Americana. The guitars mix a great bottle-neck sound with a stomping riff. Peter's voice is a confident melody and adds some polish to the rock sound.

The gentle 'Cool Summer' is a lounge-ballad with added sparkle. The chorus is a surprise in this song, with a driving pop beat and a soaring melody.

Just a note to say I was once again the guest judge last night at Feltham's Got Talent, showcasing the bright young things at Feltham Community College. 

The standard was even higher than last year, and the winner was a tiny 13 year old lass who seems to be the only person on YouTube who doesn't chicken out from the belty mid-section of The Only Exception by Paramore.  Vid here.

Hallo, folks! Been a while, I know, but I've been up to my eyeballs lately.

Highlights: The wonderful Monroe are recording two new songs with me (I'll post their MySpace address when they've finished tarting it up); and Fat Pigeon have been forging ahead with their next album, which should see the light of day in 2010. If it doesn't, we've really got no business in music at all.

Top unsigned music website "The Mag" has kindly reviewed a quartet of tracks, Country Life, Colour, Cool Summer and Graceland, awarding them 4*!

Stomping new track, Country Life  can now be heard in full at the MySpace site.  It's got eveybody here at Falconer Towers very excited, and it's soon to be featured at NeverEnoughNotes amongst other internet radio stations.

Really enjoyed the Alphabeat gig at Koko last night.  Good fun band, with a very pleasant on-stage personality; good musicians (really like their drummer!); and excellent songs on the whole, though a bit too much of the set was just carbon-copying the recordings (I always think live shows should be used to expand on what you did in the studio).
